I’m Amberlee Christey and creating art with my camera isn’t my job; it’s my passion, my life.

Although I knew at a young age I was destined to be an artist, it wasn’t until I began exploring photography during college I truly discovered what I was meant to do – and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Pictures are tangible proof of life’s events, and I love seeing them unfold and creating lasting memories from behind the lens.

From DIY projects to dresses, I love everything (seriously, everything) about weddings. If I could attend one every day of my life I would be over-the-moon with happiness. That would, however, force me to do laundry day in and day out as I have a lucky pair of underwear I wear to every wedding.

How was that for an ice breaker?

My real name is Amberlee – not Amber with middle name Lee. My mom will yell if she hears you call me Amber and, trust me, you don’t want that.

I love music (especially David Bowie)! And exclamation points!! And the words “amazing” and “awesome!!!” I also feel like the luckiest person in the world to have the best clients and friends. So lucky, in fact, I made sure to incorporate a four-leaf clover into my logo. Pandora is my non-human best friend. I turn the music up and sing loudly while getting ready to shoot a wedding. Although I'm pretty sure I was born this way, I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 14 years. I’m also the pickiest person when it comes to food, unless you meet my (human) BFF Kelly.

I’m horribly nervous around people (funny, right?), but it fades away when I have a camera in my hands. That’s probably why I take my camera everywhere!
