Assistant Photographers
Lindsay Willey
A girl with a camera who takes more pictures than she should, I believe I inherited my love for photography from my granddad. He taught me from an early age to always have a camera handy and, for as long as I can remember, I've never been without one.
I laugh loudly. I smile a lot. I'm loyal to a fault. I'm totally Type A and have a plan for everything. Oh, yeah, and I love Clay Aiken.
Originally from Keyser, Morgantown has been my home for 12 years. While in college, I worked at Domino's Pizza to support my insatiable urge for flip flops and t-shirts. It was there I met my now-husband, Randy. We were married in June 2011 and share a house with our four spoiled chinchillas.
By day, I'm a public relations specialist for West Virginia University. By night, I'm Amberlee's writer, editor, hillbilly translator and second brain. All of those are just fancy words to describe being an assistant.
I'm still learning this photography thing (who stops learning, anyway?), but I'm thankful every day to have Amberlee as a mentor. There is no one else I'd feel comfortable sending a random, "Hey, what does this do ..." e-mail.
Although I've saved it for last, my love of weddings can't be understated. I love anything and everything about them, but the nitty-gritty details are by far my favorite. Ask me about my wedding binder and you'll see what I mean.
