This Tuesday I helped Lindsay learn a little about newborn photography. 

This is big sis!  She waited very patiently while we took photos.  Of course I had to steal her for a few of her own. :)

We held our spring open house yesterday, and I have to say it was quite a hit!

The countdown is over and the first wedding of the season is behind me … and what a wedding it was! There were plenty of smiles, laughter and tears as Samantha and Tim were married Saturday in northern West Virginia. There were even April showers, but they weren’t anything a few umbrellas and the bride’s rain boots couldn’t handle. The rain did stop long enough for us to venture to a field for some amazing photos! Enjoy a sneak peek of Samantha and Tim’s wonderful day:

A few weeks ago I got to go down to Charleston for a few days and hang out with my super awesome niece and nephew during their spring break!  Heres a few photos from our frog hunting expedition!  No frogs were harmed and yep we released him as soon as we were done :)

I was invited as a guest to a wedding In South Carolina with one of my friends over the weekend - something I don't often get to experience. As hard as I knew it would be, I didn't plan on taking my camera because I knew I would obnoxiously be taking photos of everything. I know; I have a problem. At the last second, the lovely bride asked if I would do a little bit of video for them, and I happily agreed. Itching to take a few photos, though, I did sneak back to see some of my favorite adorable little boys right before the ceremony. Of those few photos, this one is by far my favorite.

I had the pleasure of taking Mary and Matt's engagement photos last week on WVU's downtown campus. The sunshine, blue skies and flowering trees helped make this a great spring session!

I think I can officially call myself a seasoned traveler. I visited two continents, 14 cities, 10 states, and flew in 20 airplanes during the off-season. It was a wonderful and sometimes relaxing vacation. Almost too wonderful because all play and no work made me want to play even more.

Even though I was reluctant to shift back into work mode, I knew I didn’t have a choice. So I put my foot on the gas and didn’t look back. I’ve been going a mile a minute this week and my clean house, three wedding client meetings, multiple photo shoots, and completed projects are proof of it.
