Karen + Erik = Married! Morgantown, WV Wedding Photographer

I can’t even begin to tell you what a great time we had at Karen and Erik’s wedding! Everyone was extremely laid back and the day went so smoothly! The couple was married on the grounds of Karen’s family farm just outside Morgantown – and partied the night away under a beautifully decorated tent. And when I write partied, I mean really LIVED it up.

Nicole + Kristopher = Married! Oglebay Wedding Photographer

There is so much to write about Nicole and Kristopher’s beautiful wedding at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling. Although this was my first wedding at the resort, it wasn’t my first with Nicole’s family. In 2009, I photographed her sister Kerissa’s wedding and was ecstatic when Nicole and Kris decided to hire me as well.

Endless amount of music, 8,000 photos, 1,700 miles, 9 states, and 2 crazy photogs.

The destinations are set and the Pandora playlists are ready! We’re hitting the road for two weeks in September and our journey may bring us to a city near you. From Sept. 1-16, we’ll travel 1,700 miles through nine states and take at least 8,000 photos. Whew! I’m tired just thinking about it. But, we’re super pumped to be photographing a wedding in Wilmington, Del., an engagement session on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Conn, and a wedding in Harrisonburg, Va!

Check out this handy-dandy map we created of our travel route:

Avery ~Morgantown, WV Newborn Photographer

Say hello to Miss Avery! I couldn't have asked for a better lifestyle newborn session! Not only is Avery an adorable baby, but she slept the entire time which makes my job easy. She also happens to have beautiful and sweet parents.

Amanda + Evan = Married 1 Year!

Traditionally, "paper" is the gift to give for your first wedding anniversary. I can't think of a better way to commemorate than with pictures! I connected with Amanda when I photographed the YPWE event in Pittsburgh and, afterward, she contacted me to take anniversary pictures with her husband, Evan. We met at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport for their session and had a great time!

Emily + CJ= Married! Morgantown, WV Wedding Photographer

Emily and CJ’s wedding day was full of smiles, happy tears, sunshine and fluffy white clouds! In addition to being surrounded by many of the people who love them the most, but they were wed in a church Emily's father helped design as an architect. I’m pretty sure Emily had a huge smile on her face every time I looked her way – and not because of the camera. She was as radiant as CJ was handsome! Here’s a sneak peek at their pictures so you can see for yourself!

Ms. Gina + Mr. Chris = Married! Annapolis, MD Courthouse Wedding Photographer

I spent the weekend of June 9 in Annapolis with some very special people in my life. Jaime and I went to art school together and she quickly became one of my best friends. To say I was excited to be invited to attend and photograph her mom's wedding would be an understatement. Ms. Gina and Mr. Chris were married in a ceremony at the Anne Arundel County Courthouse and then hosted a backyard reception at their beautiful home for a small group of family and friends. Here's a sneak peek of the weekends' events:

Happy 12th Birthday Elizabeth!

Elizabeth turned 12 today and had one wish - to have modeling pictures taken. As their present to her, Elizabeth's parents said she could. She researched local photographers and I'm honored she chose me! Happy, happy birthday, Elizabeth! I had a wonderful time this evening! Enjoy a sneak peek of your pictures:

Teresa + Keenan = Married! Riviera Cancun Wedding Photographer

One of the many things I love about my job is the opportunities I have to shoot weddings in exotic locations. When Teresa and Keenan hired me to photograph their small courthouse ceremony last August, I never dreamed I'd be following them to Cancun for their destination wedding and par-tay! If the love they left is any indication, the feelings were mutual. :) Another thing I love is when my clients also become my friends - and I can happily call Teresa and Kennan that.
