I'm excited! Sweet Water Event Rentals is moving in to a new location on 955 Canyon Rd! Why you ask am I so super duper excited about this? That would be because Jason Savage of Bella Fiore, and yours truly of Amberlee Christey Photography will have an office in with these amazing wedding vendors! This won't be a studio, just an office. This will be where I will be meeting clients from now on along with some other awesomeness (to be announced later)!

More exciting news!!!!  There is going to be an open house on May 6th so all of you can come over and munch on some tasty food, hop in the AMAZING photobooth, and hang out with us!

I will be traveling to Las Vegas for the 2011 WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention and trade show February 19-26th! This will be my first time there and probably not my last! I'm signed up for a 2 hour photo shoot with Stephen Knuth  and Dan Fields out in the Nevada desert!  How awesome is that?!?!

We are working on major updates on my webpage which should be happening in the next week! YAY! I'm excited.

Other new news... I will be at a bridal show this Sunday Feb 28 at Gatherings in Fairmont, WV. I hope to see a bunch of your faces there! Hopefully the weather will cooperate a little better than it has been lately!

Another major update will probably be doing away with this news section since I primarily post all news in my blog.

Easter Photos

~*~*~*~*~I just bought a bunch of new props for this weekend!!  Also I'm going to do a referral bonus now!  For every person you refer to me that does photos this weekend you will receive $5 off.  That means if you refer 5 people to me you can get the lowest package for free!~*~*~*~*~*~  Photos have to be taken this Saturday during the time while I'm down at the dance studio.

I'll be in Franklin March 21st for childrens Easter photos with a real bunny and Easter props! I'll be set up in Lisas Dance Studio on Main street. I'll be starting the photo sessions at noon. They will run 20 minutes each session and packages start at $25.  I'll have my backdrops set up also if any one else wants a mini session on Saturday.  Can include small family, maternity, baby, portraits, or pets.

Franklin Photoshoots This Weekend 1-30-09 to 2-1-09

New equipment on the way!

I finally ordered a new camera today!!    I am so excited!  I went for the Nikon D300.  All the reviews I've read makes it sound like its the right choice to be upgrading to.  :)  Yay

I also opted to get the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens.

New Year, New Packages

I will be taking some time off for the holidays, so I won't be available for any photo shoots until after January 18, 2009.

Also, I'm working on some new packages and prices which will be posted at the beginning of January. 

If you want to book me for anytime next year at the current rates, your deposit must be received by December 31.

Howl-a-ween Party

I'll be taking photos for Animal Friends of North Central West Virginias Howl-a-ween  Party this sunday!  So dress your pets up and bring them up for pictures!  I'm only going to be charging a $7 sitting fee (Part of which goes back to Animal Friends! and its usually $30, so your getting a great discount and great pictures : )

I'll have specials for packages too!  SO come up and support a great cause!!!!!!!
