I planned on going to bed at a decent hour tonight so I could get up early to buy the brand new 2012 WV Weddings Magazine at Barnes and Noble. It's almost 3 a.m. and I'm as giddy as a 5-year-old on Christmas morning. :) So I thought I would be a little productive and post a new blog entry!

The day after my last wedding of 2011, I started my whirlwind travel-the-world vacation. :) By the time my first wedding of 2012 rolls around, I will have traveled to at least three countries and visited nine states. I love, love, love when I get the chance to just go!

 I’ve busted my butt for the last few years to get my business to the point it is now, so I figured I deserved a little Amberlee time. I took tons of photos and plan on taking even more! I can’t wait to share them with you!

My husband gave me the "you put toooooo many photos on your blog and its going to load slow, so you should put less" speech the other day... So being the outlaw I am I decided to put twice as many... But I'm gonna compromise and put them in two blogs!

I love photographing unique weddings, and I knew early on that Natalie & Anthony's was going to be one of a kind. When I first met Natalie, I found out she was a blogger for Wedding Bee (an absolutely hilarious one at that!), and have been fanatically following her "Miss Biscuit" blog ever since. Natalie, a.k.a Miss Biscuit, is a super creative type of person, and decided to plan all the details of her wedding herself. When she described her theme as “Alice attends the Mad Hatter Vintage Garden Tea Party in a Ballroom. She Thinks That The Venue is Odd for a Vintage Garden Party, but is Tripping on LSD, so She Doesn’t Really Care.”, I knew this was going to be a fun one... I feel like I was along for the ride as she went through all the ups and downs of the wedding planning process. As Miss Biscuit's big day got nearer, I felt like had gotten to know her through her writing, as well as being involved in the process as her photographer, and I was almost as excited as she was. Seeing all the hand-crafted details come together was amazing, and it is always a joy to photograph such a beautiful and relaxed couple.

Now on to the getting ready and ceremony!

I vowed at the beginning of wedding season this year that I would not get behind on wedding blogs this summer....  Well I'm a little behind now that I just finished the halfway mark through wedding season, but will get caught up!  :)  I'm out in Oklahoma this week visiting my now 1 year old nephew.  I've missed his absolutely adorable face so much!  I'm so glad to have a small break to drive out and squeeze his little cheeks!  Now that he is snoozing I decided to get Kari & Franks wedding previews up!  They are such a fun couple!  I went down and hung out with them this past October to do their engagement shoot with their dog Kody in Alexandria, Virginia.  I knew from that day how much fun we were going to have at their wedding! 

We had elaborate plans for outside photos for their wedding day... however we werent thinking that it would be the hottest day of the entire year to date in WV!  We did a bunch inside and did escape outside a few times for a couple!  :)  Enjoy!  A!

I am so excited to do a few sneak peaks from Erin & Scotts wedding!  It was such an amazing day! 

Erin & Scott live in California, so I didn't get to meet either one of them until their wedding day!  I always worry when I don't get to meet people before, but I have to say they were absolutely one of the nicest couples!  I started the day with everyone getting ready at Erin's parents house.  Her entire family was so welcoming!  I totally felt like I fit right in with them and had known them forever! 

The ceremony was held at   Green Gables in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania.  I shot a fall wedding there a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with the venue!  It is just as amazing in the summer!  I was a little sad this time that I didn't get a photo of a ghost...  Well atleast the photos I've been through so far I haven't seen one!  :) 

Congratulations Erin & Scott!  I hope you are having a great time on your honeymoon!  I almost came back to get in your suitcase with you!  :)  Thanks so much for such a beautiful wedding and welcoming us like you did! 

Howdy Amberlee-land! This is Lindsay from Lindsay + Randy = Married!!

Amberlee thought it would be fun to mix things up for this recap and asked me to guest blog about our totally awesome (in my opinion, anyway!), perfectly perfect wedding last Saturday.

Be prepared to be overwhelemed with tons of photos!  What can I say...  Julia and Adams wedding was one that I way beyond excited to shoot.

The first time I met with Julia, we sat and talked like we had known each other forever!  I was soooo excited to see her when she came to every single one of the bridal shows I did last year!  At one show I had talk to another vendor for a minute and when I came back Julia had booked me a bride that had previously booked another photographer!  I told Julia that I was going to have to hire her to take with me to all of the shows next year so I won't miss her so much!  :) 

Julia & Adam I'm so excited for you two to be starting this chapter of your lives together!  You are truely meant for each other!  Thank you so much for letting me capture your wedding day!  I hope your having a great time on your honeymoon!
