It’s the final countdown!

I think I can officially call myself a seasoned traveler. I visited two continents, 14 cities, 10 states, and flew in 20 airplanes during the off-season. It was a wonderful and sometimes relaxing vacation. Almost too wonderful because all play and no work made me want to play even more.

Even though I was reluctant to shift back into work mode, I knew I didn’t have a choice. So I put my foot on the gas and didn’t look back. I’ve been going a mile a minute this week and my clean house, three wedding client meetings, multiple photo shoots, and completed projects are proof of it.

And, you know what? I realize now how much I love and missed every.single.thing about my job. I really wouldn’t trade it for anything.

With wedding season rapidly approaching, this couldn’t have happened at a better time. My batteries are recharged (literally and figuratively) and the creative juices are flowing. Let’s get this show on the road!

On another note, this will be Lindsay’s first full season as an assistant and she’s really excited! She said it feels like Christmas morning and she’s the kid who didn’t snoop through her packages ahead of time. Haha! We’re ready to see beautiful brides, handsome grooms, and adorable flower girls and ring bearers.

We want to see people shake their groove things on the dance floor every weekend. Most importantly, we’re looking forward to seeing couples in love say “I do!”

Cue the schmoopie “Awww!”
