I met Lauren and Jimmy a few months ago at WV Weddings 2012 Wedding Extravaganza! When they mentioned doing an engagement session in the snow and incorporating their love of snowboarding, I was hooked. Snowboarding + Photography + Love = Winning!

Meet Catherine and Phil! This adorable (and beautiful) couple was so much fun during their engagement session. After just an hour, I felt like I'd known them years! To hear them tell their engagement story - a proposal on top of a castle in Austria and a tourist unknowingly photobombing their special moment - was both wonderful and hilarious! Are you ready for an engagement session full of love, family and wine? Yes, wine. Claudia and Cory are getting married in Sept. at Cross Keys Winery in Harrisonburg, Va., but they drove to Cory's former stompin' grounds (and mine!) of Franklin for their session. In addition to being a really sweet couple, what I like most about Claudia and Cory is the hands-on approach they took for their engagement photos. You could tell they really put thought into it! Our first stop was a hardware store in the middle of town owned by Cory's family.
