Well we've still be moving and rearranging everything at the new office and have to say we are ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE! Heres a few pics I've done in the natural light studio! You can tell I've had a ton of kiddos in! :)

Guess where I am right now?!

Guess where I am right now?! I bet you'll never guess! I'm sitting at my desk in my brand new office! Isn't that exciting?!?! Exciting and scary, let me tell you.

As many of you know, I interned with Legacy Photographiques prior to starting my own business. The owner, Debbie, and I have remained friends over the years and she recently approached me with an offer I couldn't refuse. When she and her husband decided to relocate to Arizona, she asked if I would like to move into her office/studio and offer photography services to her clients.

Amanda + GJ = Expecting! Morgantown, WV Maternity Photographer

Amanda and GJ will soon have a little one to snuggle! They even decided to announce Amanda’s pregnancy to family and friends in a special way. We met for a photo session (how adorable are the three pairs of matching shoes?) and then we created an announcement card for them to mail. Here’s a look at some of their pictures …

Meredith + Ryan = Married! WVU Erickson Alumni Center Morgantown, WV Wedding Photography

From the vows to the heartfelt toasts to the love between the bride and groom, everything about Meredith and Ryan's wedding day was beautiful. It was perfect. As a wedding photographer, I've seen a lot of tears over the years. Happy, sad, frustrated - the tears usually run the emotional gamut. For Meredith, they were nothing but happy on her big day. When we met to discuss the day's timeline two weeks before, she said, "I just want the day to go smoothly." Smoothly ... we can do that!

Fall Mini Sessions

As summer fades into fall and the leaves begin to change colors, it's time to start thinking about scheduling family photo sessions. Amberlee Christey Photography is currently booking a limited number of mini sessions for families, couples and children. Sessions will be held Oct. 13-14 in the Morgantown area. Each package includes a 20-minute session, five digital files with reprint rights, and an 11x14 archival print for $300. Saturday's sessions will be held at Cooper's Rock State Park, while Sunday's will be held at Friendship Hill.

Catherine + Phil = Engaged!

Meet Catherine and Phil! This adorable (and beautiful) couple was so much fun during their engagement session. After just an hour, I felt like I'd known them years! To hear them tell their engagement story - a proposal on top of a castle in Austria and a tourist unknowingly photobombing their special moment - was both wonderful and hilarious! Enjoy a sneak peek at their (photobomber-free) pictures!

Kayli! Almost senior photos! Morgantown, WV

They say third time is a charm. I'm pretty sure this photo session with the beautiful Kayli is proof of that! Cheryl, Kayli's mom, initially contacted me to take Kayli's senior pictures. For various reasons, we had to reschedule one session, cancel another and didn't have the chance to schedule again. Kayli graduated high school in May and will begin her freshman year at WVU next week. While these aren't technically senior portraits, they are some amazing pictures! I'm so happy with how they turned out!
