Kari + Frank = Married! Morgantown, WV Wedding Photographer

I vowed at the beginning of wedding season this year that I would not get behind on wedding blogs this summer....  Well I'm a little behind now that I just finished the halfway mark through wedding season, but will get caught up!  :)  I'm out in Oklahoma this week visiting my now 1 year old nephew.  I've missed his absolutely adorable face so much!  I'm so glad to have a small break to drive out and squeeze his little cheeks!  Now that he is snoozing I decided to get Kari & Franks wedding previews up!  They are such a fun couple!  I went down and hung out with them this past October to do their engagement shoot with their dog Kody in Alexandria, Virginia.  I knew from that day how much fun we were going to have at their wedding! 

We had elaborate plans for outside photos for their wedding day... however we werent thinking that it would be the hottest day of the entire year to date in WV!  We did a bunch inside and did escape outside a few times for a couple!  :)  Enjoy!  A!

Beautiful Mama!

You may remember this mama and her adorable boys from her intimate courthouse wedding a few years ago!  She had stunning details and was one of the sweetest brides I've had to date!   I was beyond excited when I recieved an email from her a few weeks ago telling me she was expecting her fouth little boy and she would like for me to photograph her belly!  :)

A few weeks ago I photographed the wedding of Emily & Jared! I arrived to find everyone so calm and relaxed on a beautiful day! It was such a nice wedding to get back into season with!

Congratulations Emily & Jared! It was so nice meeting you both along with your families!

I'm excited! Sweet Water Event Rentals is moving in to a new location on 955 Canyon Rd! Why you ask am I so super duper excited about this? That would be because Jason Savage of Bella Fiore, and yours truly of Amberlee Christey Photography will have an office in with these amazing wedding vendors! This won't be a studio, just an office. This will be where I will be meeting clients from now on along with some other awesomeness (to be announced later)!

More exciting news!!!!  There is going to be an open house on May 6th so all of you can come over and munch on some tasty food, hop in the AMAZING photobooth, and hang out with us!

Wowza this has been an amazing ride this summer! Wedding season is starting to come to an end with 4 possibly 6 more weddings before the end of the year. This next 4 days is the first time I haven't had an active wedding in my editing since March 13! I'm still in full swing with most of my fall and holiday dates booked! This next week alone I have (Tues) newborn photos, (Wed) Senior, (Thur) Engagement, (Fri) Wedding, (Sat) 4 hour drive to upper PA, (Sun) Wedding, (Mon) drive back, (Tues) anniversary photos, (W) 3 children!

Everytime I get an email or call for newborn photos I get soooooooo excited!  I've had 4 newborns in the past month and I'm tring to  finish up preperations to go to Oklahoma to take photos of my sister-in-law and brothers baby when he hopefully arrives next week!  He is going to be one super photographed baby in the first few days of his life!  I can't wait to be an aunt again!!!!!!

Mr. R was 10 days old for his photoshoot!  He did such a great job and was such a beautiful model!  It did take us a little while to wear him out enough to get him to sleep, but once he was snoozing we were able to move him all around.   Look at how perfect! :)
