Meredith + Ryan = Married! WVU Erickson Alumni Center Morgantown, WV Wedding Photography

From the vows to the heartfelt toasts to the love between the bride and groom, everything about Meredith and Ryan's wedding day was beautiful. It was perfect. As a wedding photographer, I've seen a lot of tears over the years. Happy, sad, frustrated - the tears usually run the emotional gamut. For Meredith, they were nothing but happy on her big day. When we met to discuss the day's timeline two weeks before, she said, "I just want the day to go smoothly." Smoothly ... we can do that!

Mary + Matt = Engaged!

I had the pleasure of taking Mary and Matt's engagement photos last week on WVU's downtown campus. The sunshine, blue skies and flowering trees helped make this a great spring session!

Lauren and Tanner had one request for their engagement pictures ... snow! Mother Nature didn't disappoint this weekend as winter finally decided to make an appearance in the Mountain State. We bundled up Sunday afternoon, dug out the hand and toe warmers, and braved the freezing weather for a very chilly engagement session. Although originally from Texas, Lauren and Tanner were troopers when it came to standing out in the cold and trudging through snowy fields to reach the perfect picture locations.

Today I had the great pleasure to photograph Rebekah and & Evan!  They were so much fun and total goofballs too!  We went down to Bluehole in Preston County.  There was a few times we weren't sure if we would make it down the rocky washed out road, and may have lost some car parts along the way, but the pictures are worth it!  Check them out for your self!  Feel free to leave comments! I can't say enough times how lucky I am to get such great clients all the time! These two are two of my great clients! They are just down right beautiful people inside and out. Did I mention they both just graduated from law school too? Brains and beauty! What more could you ask for? :) We planned on having an outside shoot yesterday around the new Erickson Alumni Center. It was beautiful all day until an hour before our shoot and then the sky opened up! With their bar examinations sneaking up on them, we decided to go ahead on down to the EAC and see what we could do anyways! Heres a few previews from their shoot!

What a day!

Today I woke up extra early, goldsmithed :) until 11,  had my first boys senior shoot at noon, ran home grabbed some lunch, went to St. Fransis church, locked my keys in my car and had to wait for my hubby to make it through WVU football traffic, went to the new University high soccer field to take a few more senior pictures, then drove 80mph :O and missed the sunset at Coopers Rock. It still was an absolutely beautiful fall day and is supppost to be just as beautiful tomorrow! :)

It was a pretty fun day, but I am totally exhausted!  Anyways heres a few previews from today!
